New Forum Launched To Discuss Journalists During Times Of Crisis
The thought of war and terrorism are still on the forefront of many people’s minds. This is true of journalists and those concerned with getting access to the best information available, and making sure that people from every where have continued freedom to access this type of information. Sometimes people assume that the rest of the world is like America and that journalists every where have unfettered freedom to do their job, but this simply isn’t true.
In the spirit of this concern, the Council of Europe has launched an online forum for discussion about the rights of journalists and others to get information, especially during times of crisis.
This is another very good use of an online forum, to encourage people to share thoughts and concerns, and come up with new ideas about serious topics.
