Great Geographical Forum - Many Uses
A great place to go to find out about different areas of the country, and world, is the forums over at City-Data.com. They have numerous forums divided up regionally. You can go in and ask questions of people that are from those exact areas. No other way to get quality information about a geographic location than by asking people that live there. A very useful forum.
